Lunar Face

Though I seem so care free, like life is some big joke
I'm almost always worked up and hoping it wont show
Throwing back my head in a forced attempt at laughter
Pretending I don't care and hating myself after
Plastered on my face
A smile that's as empty as the lunar waste
Devoid of any life
Only visible to most in the quiet dead of night
